PUBLIC LECTURE OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL EDUCATION STUDY PROGRAM

The three-day Public Lecture on Education has been held, with the main theme "Innovation and Transformation of Learning in the 21st Century Curriculum". This activity presents expert speakers in the field of education from Indonesia and Australia, and is attended by lecturers, students, and education practitioners from various regions.
First Day:
On the first day, public lecture participants were invited to analyze the concept and model of integrated learning and explore the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) learning model. The discussion also included a comparison of curriculum implementation in Australia and Indonesia, providing comparative insights related to the integration of technology, pedagogy, and content in the teaching and learning process. Participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the importance of this integration in building learning that is relevant to the needs of the times.
Second Day:
The second day focused on the concept and model of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) learning and HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills)-based learning models, such as Problem Based Learning and Project Based Learning. This session also highlighted important issues related to teacher career development and national quality standards for educators, both in Indonesia and Australia. Participants are invited to understand the strategic role of teachers in implementing innovative and reflective learning to the needs of students.
Day Three:
On the last day, the discussion focused on the concept and model of digital learning, including online and blended learning, especially at the Elementary School (SD) level. The resource person conveyed various strategies and challenges in implementing digital learning, as well as how teachers can adapt effectively in an education ecosystem that continues to develop technologically.
This activity is expected to be the first step in encouraging the understanding and implementation of innovative learning in elementary education environments, as well as strengthening the synergy between educational theory and practice in global and local contexts.
